Salvador Leonard Cialona Jr.

December 11, 1969 - June 26, 2025

Salvador Leonard Cialona Jr., age 55, passed away on June 26, 2025, at home surounded by family after a 14 month battle with ALS in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Born on December 11, 1969, in Metairie La. Sal was a devoted family man and a steadfast friend whose presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Sal is survived by his beloved devoted wife, Felicia Cialona;( McKenzie) his devoted daughter, Angelina Wilkerson; (Mason) and his adored grandson, Lane Coxe, His brother Shane Cialona (Andre). He also leaves behind his loving mother, Paulette Marrero and step dad Alden Marrero. A host of Nephews and close friends. Sal’s memory will be held close by many extended family members and friends who were touched by his warmth and generosity.

He was preceded in death by his father, Salvador L. Cialona Sr.; Grandmother Rosemary Seguin Crockett; and Grandfather Lorenz Cialona.

A man of deep integrity and unwavering loyalty, Sal lived a life rooted in honor and unconditional love for those around him. He was known for being the kind of person who would always lend a hand—whether to family or a friend he had just met. His kindness and sincerity made him a trusted companion and an irreplaceable part of many lives.

Sal’s passion for woodworking was evident in the unique furniture pieces he crafted with care and creativity. He found joy in building anything with his hands, turning raw materials into works of art that reflected both skill and heart. But perhaps nothing brought him more happiness than gathering loved ones together over food. Whether boiling crawfish to perfection, grilling outdoors under the Louisiana sun, or experimenting with new sausage recipes with his loyal friend Tommy. Sal created not just meals but memories—moments filled with laughter, storytelling, and connection.

His home was often the center of celebration—a place where friends became family over shared plates and good conversation. These gatherings were more than just meals; they were expressions of Sal’s love language: hospitality infused with heart.

Sal’s legacy is one of craftsmanship, camaraderie, and compassion. His spirit will live on through the furniture he built by hand, the recipes he perfected with pride, and most importantly, through the lives he touched so deeply.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire acts of kindness and love.
