It saddens us to announce the passing of our father, James Edward Johnson Sr. He died peacefully in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He was a native of Baltimore MD but transplanted himself early in life to New Orleans LA. He was a Shipyard Electrician for most of his life. He lived a long life and was active well into his 80’s. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his wife Carole Dupas Johnson and is survived by his two sons, James Edward Johnson Jr. and Robert William Johnson. He is also survived by his grandchildren Melanie, Patrick, Michael. Rachael, Rebekah, Thomas, Sean, Stephen, James M., Andrew, Clay, Joshua, Christine, Amber, Connor, Carolynn and Michaella. He was a veteran of the Army and after serving in Korea he was honorably discharged. After returning to the United States he started a New life and started his family. He spent his life making sure his family had what they needed. He will be missed. |
